About the City of Harrison Streets Department

The City of Harrison Streets Department maintains more than 45 miles of roadway. The department consists of six service personnel and one lead-man, who reports to the Public Works Director.

Streets Department responsibilities include building maintenance, crack seal and minor street repair, cross walk painting, dry well cleaning, inventory, repair and maintenance of all street signs, maintenance of city parks and Interstate 74 landscape, storm catch basin repair, street sweeping, snow removal, fall leaf pick-up and yard waste collection.
