Public Comment Guidelines


Purpose 

The City of Harrison, Ohio has established social media pages (Facebook and Twitter) to share relevant photos, video and information to people who live or work in our community, as well as visitors. Our goal is to provide timely and professional communication that engages citizens and shines a spotlight on our City.

Answering Your Questions and Concerns

City personnel welcome comments and questions and will strive to respond within 48 hours during the business week. We encourage users to visit our staff directory to reach the appropriate departments for timely response to questions. We have also created a list of common concerns with the direct phone number to the appropriate department.

Moderation of Comments

User-posted comments do not necessarily reflect the opinions and position of the City, elected officials or employees. Inappropriate interaction on this page will not be tolerated. The City reserves the right to delete user-posted content deemed inappropriate. For example, the City may delete comments and posts that contain obscenities, are defamatory, threatening, spam or off-topic. The City also reserves the right to delete comments or posts that promote illegal activity or discrimination, contain malware links or infringe on copyrights or trademarks.
