Residents (or other parties) interested in obtaining building permits may access them online and deposit them into the window slot at the Community Center (300 George St.) with a check or money order. Or, if there are questions or issues with the application, beginning Monday, May 11 applicants may call the Building and Zoning Department to schedule an appointment to review the applications. The process is as follows:
o Applicants must call (513) 202-8494 to schedule an appointment. During this call, they will be asked several screening questions before an appointment is granted.
o If after an appointment is set and an applicant becomes COVID-19 symptomatic or becomes exposed to others who are symptomatic, they are to cancel their appointment.
o Upon entering the building, throughout the application process and until leaving the building, applicants must wear a protective mask over their mouth and nose. If the person does not, they will be asked to leave the building. The City will not provide these masks.
o During the application process, applicants must stay behind the protective barriers that have been installed in the Building & Zoning Dept.
o The Building Department areas will be sanitized after every visit.
