Here are details regarding City of Harrison Fourth of July festivities.
4 P.M. FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
The City of Harrison Fourth of July parade will be led by grand marshal William Henry Harrison High School Class of 2020. The parade will begin at the Harrison Community Center at George Street and Broadway and proceed west on Broadway to State Street, north one block to Harrison Avenue, then east on Harrison to Washington. There will not be any handouts at this parade. ICRC-TV will be recording the parade and broadcasting it later in the day on icrctv.com.
7 P.M. PRE-FIREWORKS CONCERT WITH MISS JACQUE
The Band Miss Jacque is tentatively scheduled to perform from the stage behind the Community Center, 300 George Street. There will be a beer garden and limited pre-packaged food available for purchase. Concert-goers can bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
SUNSET FIREWORKS DISPLAY
Families can view the fireworks from the Community Center or from parking lots of surrounding retail centers.
HEALTH & SAFETY REMINDER
All planned activities are dependent on weather and State of Ohio restrictions. Participants are asked to maintain proper social distancing between families. Pets must be leashed and owners must clean up their waste.
