A growing list of restaurants and stores are choosing Harrison for their business.
In the historic downtown district, the Harrison Planning Commission has approved six new businesses in 2020. The Drunken Hog BBQ at 102 Harrison Avenue is expected to open by the end of 2020. The business will feature a food service window that will complement the services at 1860 Taproom & Bottleshop, which has been in business one year. The Valley House Restaurant at 301 Harrison Avenue is expected to open in early 2021 and will have an outdoor patio in the rear. An ice cream shop called Clash of the Cones is already serving scoops from their walk-up at 116 S. State Street.
Along New Haven Road, Harrison residents are enjoying a new United Dairy Farmers location at 10400 New Haven Road as well as Five Guys Burgers and Fries at 609 Ring Road.
