City of Harrison Finance Director and Tax Commissioner Cathy Stockhoff oversees a budget of $21 million. The Finance Department also includes Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk Karen Rackers and Human Resources Generalist Bryan Kelly.
The Department processes revenue from utility payments and works with an agency called Regional Income Tax Authority (RITA) to collect income tax. Meanwhile, the Department handles the City's expenses including payroll for 104 total employees.
The City's Finance Department has been recognized many times for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.
