The City of Harrison has used vehicles for sale through a sealed bidding process. The bid opening is scheduled for Nov. 22 at 10 a.m..
The following vehicles can be inspected Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the City Wastewater Treatment Plant (10999 Campbell Road).
1. 1997 F-150
2. 2008 Dodge Dakota
3. 1995 Ford Ranger
4. 2002 Chevy Silverado
5. 2008 Chevy Uplander
6. 2001 Ford F-250
7. 1993 International dump truck
8. 1994 flat bed with crane
Bidders must place a complete bid sheet in a dated, sealed envelope and hand deliver between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids are due by 3 p.m. Nov. 21. Bids must contain the following information to be considered valid:
1. Bidder's full name and date of bid
2. Bidder's telephone number or other source of contact
3. Bidder's physical address
4. Unit number, make and model of vehicle bidding on
5. Bid amounts
Winning bidders will be notified by phone Nov. 22. They will pay by cash or check at the City Utilities Office (300 George Street) and receive keys and title upon payment. Vehicles must be removed by Nov. 28.
In the event of a tie, the earliest submitted bid will win, All vehicles are offered as-is and there are no warranties.
