Since starting work in August, City of Harrison Economic Developer Matt Eisenbraun has prioritized getting out into the community to meet people.
“I would like people to know that the staff and I are focused on providing the best service we can to everyone in the community,” Eisenbran said. “We will be looking at processes and reviewing ways that we can use technology and the internet of things to make everything we can easier to use. Whether applying for a permit or checking the community calendar to find out what is happening in the town, we will find ways to make things just a little bit easier and a little faster so you can get back to living a great life in the City of Harrison.”
If City Council chooses to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan in 2024, Eisenbraun said there will be a tremendous amount of preparation including formation of focus groups and data gathering.
Eisenbraun’s experience includes both private and public sectors. In his role at the City, he oversees all building, zoning and development.
“Harrison has several unique qualities that makes it a very interesting development environment,” Eisenbraun said. “The appeal to both companies and new residents is evident by the progress in building new homes, and it will be a challenge to keep up with the tremendous growth.”
Located in Hamilton County, Ohio, Harrison is home to about 13,000 people.
