  1. Spooktacular Halloween Walk

    October 25, 2020, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Harrison Community Center

    Spooktacular, our Harrison Halloween tradition, has been re-imagined for 2020! Local organizations and business leaders are creating Halloween scenes along the walking trail behind the Harrison Community Center. Participants will start at the pavilion and move toward the Nazarene church, which will have a trunk or treat and a harvest scene. Participants will circle back toward the Community Center, navigate a maze and end at a FREE pumpkin patch (while supplies last). The costume parade begins at 5 p.m. FREE Goodie bags, pumpkin patch, maze, and music Pets in costume will receive a dog treat. Pets must be on a leash.

  2. Arbor Day / Tree Board Presentation

    October 27, 2020, 7:00 PM @ Harrison Community Center

    The Harrison Tree Board’s Arbor Day presentation has been rescheduled for Oct. 27. The Arbor Doctor, Ron Rothhaas, will speak in the multipurpose room at 7 p.m. at the Harrison Community Center (300 George Street). He will talk about the basics of tree care, how to plant, how to prune and how to mulch a new tree. Each attendee will receive a ticket for a chance to win one of three Autumn Blaze maples. Attendance will be limited to the first 35 people due to room capacity. Masks and social distancing will be required.

  3. Free COVID-19 Testing

    October 30, 2020, 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Harrison Branch of the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library

    The library is partnering with UCHealth and The Health Collaborative to offer free COVID-19 testing in the parking lot. Use the link provided to pre-register and contact these organizations if you have questions.

  4. Yard Waste Clean-Up

    October 31, 2020, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    City of Harrison residents may take their yard waste such as tree limbs, brush, clippings, leaves, etc., to 510 Industrial Drive near the City garage/salt dome. Residents are asked to stay in their vehicles for the drop-off while City employees remove the yard waste from the cars and trucks.

  5. Trick-or-Treat

    October 31, 2020, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    Trick-or-treaters will be out from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween night. A few reminders to make this an enjoyable evening for all: 1. Please use extreme caution if driving on Halloween night. Watch out for children and pets. 2. Do not let your guard down regarding COVID-19. Practice social distancing as much as possible and if you feel ill, have a fever, or have been exposed to the virus, please stay home and do not pass out treats. 3. If your household is not participating, please turn off your porch light.
