    The City of Harrison Recreation Commission’s Summer Fun Program is a six week program in June and July, designed to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being and development. Summer Fun provides opportunities for children to participate in outdoor, civic, and educational activities which will enhance their growth, self-confidence and independence, while socializing and making new friends.   3. Arbor Day Presentation

    April 27, 2021, 7:00 PM @ Harrison Community Center

    The Harrison Tree Board hosts a presentation by Master Arborist Ron Rothhaas in the multipurpose room at the Harrison Community Center (300 George Street). He will talk about the basics of tree care, how to plant, how to prune and how to mulch a new tree. The first 50 attendees will receive a red oak sapling. Masks and social distancing will be required.
